  • Improved Relaxation and Sleep
  • Reduce and/or alleviate muscle pain from chronic injuries
  • Relief from chronic pain
  • Helps in surgery and injury recovery
  • Improves circulation
  • It can help lower blood pressure

Massage has been helpful in the treatment process of several injuries and common complaints.   It can help relieve the pain in; carpal tunnel syndrome,  shin splints, thoracic outlet syndrome, frozen shoulder and hips, rotator cuff pain, back pain, knee pain, ankle pain, plantar fasciitis, muscular injuries, and fibromyalgia just to name a few.

Massage is a way to help the body restore balance within itself.   Everything in the body is connected.  Massage therapists manipulate the muscles and connective tissue in the body to help realign the body into better position.  When a muscle is tight it can pull on the bones connected to it which in turn can cause the bones to get out of alignment.  A number of things can happen when bones are pulled out of position; they can compress nerves, pinch ligaments or tendons, can be pulled into other bones causing loss or reduced range of motion, they can cause discs in the back or neck to bulge or herniate, and just cause overall pain in areas.  There are so many benefits of massage for your body and health, it is not just a luxury anymore.

PLEASE NOTE: not all conditions are caused by muscle imbalances.  A person should always check with their Doctor to make sure there are not any underlying conditions that are causing their symptoms.   Massage Therapists can not diagnose conditions, they are not doctors.   Think of massage therapist as part of  a team in the healing process along with your Doctor, Chiropractor, Physical Therapist and/or Athletic Trainer.  Our goal is to help you reach your goals.
